This painting emerged with a friend I recently met who I discovered was also an artist. We stood together in the warm sunlight at Circular Quay in Sydney Australia, and sketched the outline of our bodies produced from our shadows in the bright sun. The rest is history, as we colored in the opened spaces formed by the lines interconnecting our bodies.
